Rosy Barb

A larger, active, and robust barb species that brings vibrant color and energy to medium-to-large aquariums. Breeding males display a spectacular, iridescent rosy-red color that is truly a sight to behold. They are generally peaceful for their size but can be boisterous and may intimidate smaller, timid tank mates. Rosy Barbs are very hardy and undemanding, tolerating a wide range of temperatures, which makes them suitable for unheated indoor tanks in many climates. They are best kept in a shoal to encourage natural behavior.
