    • • Your card is charged R99/mo (or the annual price) immediately on checkout, then automatically every billing period.
    • • You can cancel at any time from your account settings — access continues until the end of the paid period, no further charge after that.
    • • This constitutes an agreement to a recurring subscription under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
    • • Refund & returns policy — digital subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started.

    How does billing work?
    Your card is charged immediately when you subscribe, then automatically every month (or year, if you choose annual billing).
    Can I cancel anytime?
    Yes. Cancel from Settings → Membership before your next billing date and you will not be charged again. Your Pro benefits stay active until the end of the current period.
    What does Pro include?
    Unlimited tank profiles, full price history charts (unlimited lookback), custom alert rules, daily stock + price-drop notifications, 24h early access to rare drops, 10% off the FishHub Store, monthly Pro giveaways, and AI species recommendations. The 10% applies to stocked products — FishHub apparel is made to order, so it is excluded, though your free-shipping threshold still drops to R500 on every order.
    Do I need Pro to use the Marketplace?
    No. Buying, selling, trading, and adopting on the Marketplace is free for all registered users.
    What payment methods are accepted?
    We use PayFast, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, EFT, and Instant EFT. All transactions are secured by PayFast.
    I'm on a grandfathered plan — what happens to me?
    Nothing changes. If you were on Hobbyist, Enthusiast, or Keeper, you keep your existing plan and pricing. These plans are not publicly available for new sign-ups, but existing subscribers are not affected.
