The dechlorinator most South African tanks run on - removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia. Treat every bucket of tap water before it goes in, not after. It also buys you time during an ammonia spike in a new tank, which is why it is worth keeping a bottle on hand even if you rarely do water changes. Dose per the instructions on the bottle for your water volume.

- 5 ml (1 capful) per 200 L of new water
- Emergency dose
- Up to 5x normal dose when ammonia or nitrite exceed 2 ppm; may redose every 24-48 hours
