Jewel Cichlids are stunningly beautiful fish, covered in iridescent blue spots over a fiery red body, especially during breeding. However, their beauty is matched by their aggression, which becomes intense when they pair up and spawn. They are best kept in a species-only tank or with other very robust and aggressive fish.
