Flowerhorn Cichlid

The Flowerhorn Cichlid is a man-made hybrid renowned for its spectacular colours, prominent nuchal hump (kok), and bold, interactive personality. Originally developed in Malaysia from Central American cichlid species, it has become one of the most popular monster fish worldwide. The larger and more symmetrical the nuchal hump, the more valuable the specimen. Flowerhorns are intelligent fish that recognise their owners and can be trained to accept food from hand.
