The Asian Arowana, often called the "dragon fish," is one of the most coveted and expensive freshwater fish in the world. Revered in Asian culture as a symbol of luck and prosperity, this magnificent predator displays stunning coloration ranging from deep red to gold and green. Legal to keep in South Africa only if captive-bred and accompanied by valid CITES documentation. It is a long-lived, intelligent fish that forms bonds with its keeper.
