About This Species
The Purple Emperor Tetra, or Kerri Tetra, displays a beautiful iridescent purple and blue sheen over a brown body. They are a peaceful shoaling fish, similar in behavior to the more common Emperor Tetra. Their subtle but striking colors are best appreciated in a well-lit planted aquarium.
