What to know before you buy.
The Roseline Barb, also known as the Denison Barb or Red Line Torpedo Barb, is a striking schooling fish from the fast-flowing hill streams of southern India. It features a bold red stripe running from its snout through the eye, a black lateral line below it, and a bright yellow-green flash on the tail. Active, fast swimmers, Roseline Barbs require a long aquarium with excellent water flow and oxygenation. They are listed as Endangered in the wild, making captive-bred specimens especially valuable.
