About This Species
The Bolivian Ram is a hardier and slightly larger cousin to the German Blue Ram, with more subtle yellow and pink coloration and red-tipped fins. They are an excellent dwarf cichlid for beginners, being more tolerant of varied water conditions. They are peaceful bottom-dwellers that sift through sand for food.
