About This Species
A larger, more robust tetra, the Columbian Tetra has a striking silver body with an iridescent blue-green back and bright red fins. They can be boisterous and may bully smaller, more timid fish. They are best kept in a large school in a spacious tank with other semi-aggressive fish of a similar size.
