About This Species
Similar to the Ranchu, the Lionhead has a prominent head growth and no dorsal fin, but with a less arched back. They are slow, deliberate swimmers and the head growth can sometimes impair their vision and gill function. They are a delicate variety that requires pristine water conditions and careful feeding.
