Product details
Algae is a symptom. When a tank keeps growing it back within days of a clean, the nutrients feeding it are still in the water, and scraping glass is treating the wrong end of the problem. Nitrax removes nitrate, which builds up between water changes and drives the persistent green film. Phorax targets phosphate, the nutrient most likely to be running ahead of everything else in a well-fed tank. Amorax handles ammonia, useful on a tank that is overstocked or still settling. These are chemical media with a working life - they exhaust and then do nothing, so replace them on schedule rather than leaving them in indefinitely. They are a correction while you fix feeding, stocking or water-change frequency, not a substitute for it.
