About This Species
The Rose Bubble Tip Anemone (RBTA) is one of the most popular and sought-after anemones in the hobby, famed for its deep rose-red to bright pink coloration. It is a natural host for many clownfish species, especially *Amphiprion ocellaris*. It requires strong lighting and moderate, variable flow to thrive. They are semi-aggressive, possessing a sting that can harm nearby corals. A fascinating and often frustrating trait is their tendency to 'walk' around the tank until they find a spot they like, often stinging corals along the way. The 'bubble' tips are more common under lower light, while tentacles elongate under higher light.
