Shubunkin are a hardy, single-tailed goldfish variety known for their calico-patterned, nacreous scales. Their coloration is a mix of red, white, black, blue, and orange. Like other single-tailed varieties, they are active swimmers that grow large and are best suited for ponds or very large tanks.
