Shrimp do not forgive water that drifts. Caridina and Neocaridina both want a narrow band of hardness and pH held steady, and the difference between a colony that breeds and one that slowly disappears is usually the parameters, not the food. This is the whole AquaVitro shrimp range in one go. Shrimp GH sets general hardness, which is what drives moulting. The pHa and pHb pair let you move pH in either direction and hold it rather than chase it. Shrimp exo supplies the calcium, magnesium and trace minerals a shrimp rebuilds its shell from - a failed moult is almost always a mineral problem. Shrimp start seeds the bacteria a new shrimp tank needs before anything goes in it. Build the water in a bucket, match it to the tank, and drip acclimatise. Test rather than guess: shrimp keeping is the one branch of the hobby where a test kit pays for itself in weeks.
