Product details
Iodide for reef tanks - used by soft corals, and stripped out fast by skimming. Soft corals and leathers show the shortfall first, often as poor extension. Skimmers and carbon both remove it, so a heavily filtered tank runs through it quicker. Dose per the instructions on the bottle.
- Dosage
- 5 ml (1 capful) per 200 L every second day
- Dosage (advanced)
- 1 ml per 80 L daily raises iodide 0.10 mg/L
- Use for
- Stabilised potassium iodide, 8 000 mg/L, for soft corals and inverts
- Target level
- Iodide 0.06-0.08 mg/L measured 6-12 hours after dosing
