Liquid calcium for reef tanks, in a bottle small enough for a nano system. Calcium is drawn down by stony corals and coralline algae and needs replacing alongside alkalinity, not on its own. Dose per the instructions on the bottle.
- Dosage
- 5 ml (1 capful) per 80 L, twice weekly
- Maximum dose
- Do not exceed 15 ml per 80 L per day
- Effect per dose
- Raises calcium by about 3 mg/L
- Use for
- Gluconate calcium to accelerate coral growth; no pH shift
- Suitable for
- Reef aquaria; target calcium 380-420 mg/L
