Buffers freshwater to a steady pH 7.0 and softens tap water as it goes in. Aimed at community tanks where the tap water drifts and you want one number to hold. Change pH slowly - a rapid swing stresses fish far more than a stable number outside the ideal range. Dose per the instructions on the tub for your water volume.
