Raises and holds pH in a marine tank at the 8.3 range reef systems want. Marine pH drifts down as carbon dioxide accumulates, particularly in a closed room overnight, and a buffer is the usual correction. Check alkalinity alongside pH rather than chasing the pH number alone. Dose per the instructions on the tub.
