Remineraliser for planted tanks - restores hardness without raising carbonate. The distinction matters: a planted tank often wants general hardness for the plants but not the carbonate hardness that pushes pH up. Aimed at RO or very soft tap water. Dose per the instructions on the tub.
- Dosage
- 16 g (1 tablespoon) per 80 L raises GH by 1 meq/L (3 dH)
- Target hardness
- 1-2 meq/L (3-6 dH), ideally matched to KH
- Use for
- Raising GH in planted tanks, remineralising RO/DI water
- Contains
- Calcium, magnesium and potassium salts; no sodium chloride or phosphate
- Suitable for
- Freshwater only
