Raises and holds pH and carbonate hardness, and pairs with Acid Buffer to set a target. Used alone it lifts a tank that keeps sliding acidic - common where the substrate or driftwood is pulling pH down. Used with the acid half you can hold a chosen number. Dose per the instructions on the tub.
