All problemsPlants not growing
Yellow new leaves, pinholes in old ones, stunted tips — each points at a different shortage, and dosing blindly fixes none of them.
What actually helps
- Read the leaves: pale NEW growth asks for iron, pinholes in OLD leaves ask for potassium, everything stalling together usually means nitrogen.
- Change one thing at a time and give each change a fortnight — plants respond on their own clock.
- Root feeders (swords, crypts) take food from the substrate where liquid fertiliser never reaches; they need tabs.
- Non-CO2 tanks stall differently: liquid carbon plus traces is usually all a low-tech setup is missing.
