Product details
A fully submersible heater that keeps your water at a stable, safe temperature for tropical fish. As a rule of thumb, aim for roughly 1 watt per litre in a normally heated room - go up a size if your fish room gets cold in winter, the tank is uncovered, or it's in a draughty spot. 25W suits nano tanks to ~25L, 50W suits the common 40-50L betta/small-community range, 100W covers 80-100L community and planted tanks, and 150W handles larger 120-150L cichlid and community setups. For tanks over about 150L, or for extra safety, running two smaller heaters is more reliable than one large one.
