Buffer that holds marine pH at 8.4 - the number most reef systems aim for. Marine pH drifts down overnight as carbon dioxide builds up, particularly in a closed room, and a buffer is the standard correction. Watch alkalinity alongside pH rather than chasing pH alone. Dose per the instructions on the bottle.

- 5 ml per 80 L daily until pH stabilises
- Effect per dose
- Raises alkalinity by 0.25 meq/L (0.7 dKH)
- Use for
- Buffer raising pH and carbonate alkalinity; target pH 8.3-8.5
- Suitable for
- Reef and marine aquaria; keep alkalinity under 6 meq/L
