What to know before you buy.
Talbot's Damsel is one of the more peaceful and desirable members of the notoriously aggressive damselfish family. It has a beautiful pink-to-lavender body that transitions to a bright yellow tail, with a small black spot on its dorsal fin. It is a small, hardy, and reef-safe fish, making it an excellent choice for nano-reefs or larger community tanks. While still a damsel, its aggression is typically low and confined to its immediate territory, usually a small crevice in the rockwork. It will actively swim in the open water once comfortable. They are easy to feed and will accept most aquarium foods.
