A truly amphibious fish, the Atlantic Mudskipper requires a specialized paludarium with both a brackish water area and a significant land portion they can access. They are highly territorial and known for their unique ability to breathe air and 'skip' across land using their pectoral fins. Their engaging personalities and complex environmental needs make them a challenging but rewarding species for expert aquarists.
