    Diatom bloom on new aquasoil — normal?

    Three weeks in, brown dust on leaves and glass. Lights on 6 hours, CO2 at 1 bubble/sec. Any tips?

    Very common on new soil. Otocinclus or patience — usually clears in a few weeks.

    Try increasing flow near the substrate and wipe daily.
